43055 Newark Ohio Website Phone: 740-345-4503 Fax: 740-345-1505 Armstrong Steel Erectors, Inc. was founded by John (Jack) Armstrong in 1952 as John J. Armstrong dba Armstrong Steel Erectors. On December 29, 1959 Jack incorporated the business. Under Jack's leadership (1952-1984) Armstrong Steel performed structural steel erection services on buildings, bridges and municipal facilities. In 1984 new ownership made a decision to concentrate on the bridge construction markets, especially work opportunities within the Ohio Department of Transportation, and to expand operations to include complete bridge constructions and installations of reinforcing steel. The decision was also made to expand operations into all counties of Ohio and selected opportunities in the surrounding states of Kentucky, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. In Ohio, Armstrong Steel Erectors, Inc. is pre-qualified for Level I, Level II, and Level III bridge construction, structural steel and precast concrete beam erection, placing reinforcing steel and other bridge construction related items. |
